OUR GOAL:
Our goal is to provide basic healthcare and supplement the nutritional needs of primary school children in Haiti. Thus, ensuring them a fair chance at learning.
Heartfelt Hope for Humanity was founded by a registered nurse who has been traveling to Haiti on mission trips since 2005. She has assisted in providing health care to hundreds of children and adults in Haiti. While on a missions trip in 2007 she realized that children would ask her to sponsor them so that they could attend school. Despite their hunger, sickness and deplorable living conditions, these children recognized that education is the key to getting them out of poverty. The nurse's heart was moved beyond words when a fifteen year old young man asked her kindly if she could sponsor him for school so that he could enter first grade to learn how to read and write. It was then that she decided to start Heartfelt Hope for Humanity. Since then, your contributions have helped dozens of children to attend school by providing school supplies.
Heartfelt Hope for Humanity realized early on that children who are sick and hungry cannot learn. Therefore, our aim is to address the nutritional and medical needs of each child in order to give them a better chance at achieving an education.
Heartfelt Hope for Humanity is a non-profit organization. Your contributions are tax-deductible under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). We value your donations and are committed to upholding the integrity and accountability of our organization. All board members, supporters and advisors work on a voluntary basis.
